Academic painter Rudolf Moško was born on 22nd September 1926 in Dobrá pri Trenčíne. In 1945 – 49 he studied at the legendary Department of Drawing and Painting at the Slovak Technical College in Bratislava under professors J. Mudroch, G. Mally and D. Milly. From 1959 until the present, Rudolf Moško has worked as a freelance artist in Trenčín and besides painting and drawing, he also has cooperated as an artist in architectural projects in multiple executions. The constructive, and monumentally perceived landscape of Rudolf Moško delivered in his typical predominantly blue and green colours of his paintings (later also played into some other complementary chords) or in simplified robust shapes of his pencil drawings for many years constituted a characteristic component of his numerous individual or collective exhibitions, particularly in our galleries and museums. Rudolf Moško has had 40 individual exhibitions across Slovakia as well as abroad. His works are represented in multiple Slovak galleries but also in private collections in Slovakia and abroad. He lives and works in Trenčín. Bibliography: Lovišková, D.: Rudolf Moško. Q-EX Trenčín. 2006. Kvasnička, M.: Rudolf Moško – Obrazy a kresby. Záhorská galéria Jána Mudrocha. Senica, 2013.
